For the past three years, the graduating class of students of the Visual Arts department has planned and executed a department-wide showcase of undergraduate art work. This year’s theme “Liquidation everyone must go!” is a play on words. Liquidation suggests fluidness that inevitably exists within the arts. Also, the shows title is a tribute to the graduating seniors who will be going on to future plans in the artistic arena. The other meaning of the show title is that everyone that everyone in the community must attend the show and witnesses the talents of UCSD before they graduate.

Liquidation everyone must go provides a unique opportunity for artists to exhibit their work-sometimes for the first time. By drawing students together across different artistic disciplines ranging from media to studio to performing arts, the Senior Art Show hopes to encourage a dialogue between studio majors, art professionals, musicians, and the general public.
