Electronic City

Opening Reception on Saturday, April 11, 2009 | 2-4PM

Exhibition runs April 11 through May 23, 2009

The New Childrens Museum, 200 West Island Avenue, San Diego, California 92101

The students of the Curatorial Practices course at UCSD would like to invite you to the celebration of the Electronic City exhibition opening. Building upon the theme of the urban landscape, Electronic City explores similarities between cities and electronic circuits as well as the practical use of electronics in contemporary artworks. Artist Fabiola Hanna, a Visual Arts student at UCSD, has integrated electronics into her artwork in both an innovative and interactive way! Come interact with a LED-lit mini-city that you can shift and re-design during the course of the installation

Participating student artists are: Melissa Brouwer, Eryn Fujita, Fabiola Hanna, Alice Kim, Margaret Roderick, Alexess Van Dyke, Xioda Wang
