CUBE is a transformable object that articulates experiences in its interior and its exterior. It exists thanks to the conjunctional initiative of different creators with the goal of provoking the irruption of different sonorous gradients, incessant voices, ephemeral chronics and environmental episodes in the city of Tijuana.
CUBE unfolds its aesthetic potential in concrete spaces as much as imaginary; it is drop-down architecture, a sonorous intervention in the noise of the city, a specific-social cartography that projects to the public, among the public, towards the public.

150 + artists will gather in the 3rd tijuanarte Art Festival 2007
TIJUANA, B. C.- At this time more than 150 artists, 3 art galleries, 6 collective groups and 5 art schools have confirmed assistance to this multi-disciplinary Entijuanarte Art Festival being held on Saturday October 6th and Sunday the 7th on the Main Square of Tijuana’s Cultural center
“Definitely the number of participating exhibitors consolidates and idea that back in ’05 was just a dream: That the Tijuana population would call this festival their own and would attend both as exhibitors and audience. Last year we hosted 80 artists, this year we have nearly doubled; we are expecting that the 10 thousand attendees that joined us last year will also increase and turn this into an art-fiesta filled weekend where we can show this beautiful side of our city” enthusiastically said Julio Rodriguez General Director and Cecilia Ochoa Artistic Director of Entijuanarte.
“There were more that 100 applications from Baja Californian artists. We can say that 35% of this year’s participants are emerging artists. With this we are fulfilling one of the fundamental goals of our festival, to create a showcase for a new breed of artists that seek a space to show their creative work” explained Julio and Ceci.
Like previous years Entijuanarte is put together to provide a completely complimentary art experience along Tijuana’s Cultural Center’s Main Square with a vast variation of both visual and plastic exhibitors.
